Frequently Asked Questions

  • No. Your file is securely stored under my practice, which means you can book sessions virtually or in person at either West Edmonton or Willow.

    • Monday and Wednesday: Willow (in-person or virtual)

    • Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: West Edmonton (in-person or virtual)

You can switch locations at any time.
Note: Willow Family Medicine may have infants in nearby rooms. If that sound would be disruptive for you, consider booking at West Edmonton or virtually.

  • I offer sessions Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Evening and weekend appointments are not available at this time.

  • Yes. Babies in arms are welcome in session. Willow Family Medicine is especially designed with this in mind, so parents can access support without needing to arrange childcare. Both offices have room for a carseat.

Your baby is also welcome at the West Edmonton location, and I can setup a playpen with some notice if they’re crawling.

Older children cannot join sessions. You may switch to virtual, but please have care arranged for older children and ensure they’re not in the same room.

  • No. All clients are welcome to book at this location. I have a special interest in supporting people in the perinatal period, and Willow allows me to offer a space that’s particularly suited for this stage of life.

  • Willow is a shared space with other providers, including midwives. There may be pregnant people and newborns in the waiting area. For clients navigating pregnancy or infant loss, I know this can be an especially sensitive and painful experience. If this environment may be triggering, my West Edmonton office or virtual sessions may be a better option for your care.

  • If you’re unsure, send me an email to set up a free 15-minute phone consultation. We can talk through your concerns and see if it’s a good fit. If it’s not something I work with, I’ll provide appropriate referrals.

    • 50-minute individual or couples session: $235

    • Extended sessions: Available by request, especially for couples where one partner works out of town on rotation.

Fees are in line with the recommended schedule set by the Psychologists’ Association of Alberta.

Sliding scale: 30% of my caseload is reserved for clients facing financial or systemic barriers. These spots are currently full, but I can share lower-cost resources and organizations in the city.

  • Yes. I can process claims through Telus eClaims and I can direct bill with Sun Life. If your provider isn’t covered, you can pay by credit card, debit card, or e-transfer and submit the claim to your insurer directly.

Please contact me prior to your appointment if you have questions about direct billing.

I am also a provider with PFSP (Physician and Family Support Program) https://www.albertadoctors.org/membership/benefits/pfsp/
